Are virtual inspections legal for Florida contractors?
FCC performs virtual inspections as your licensed private provider under Florida Statute 553.791, for inspections eligible for private-provider handling when the project scope supports remote review. FCC determines whether a live or offline inspection method applies.
Are video inspections the same as virtual inspections?
Yes. FCC uses "virtual inspection" for any code inspection done without an inspector on site. A live video inspection is one type: you walk the scope with a licensed inspector on a video call. The other type is offline: you upload GPS-tagged, timestamped photos and video for remote review.
How do FCC live video inspections work?
